We are learning to know what the numbers one to five (1-5) look like as patterns on our fingers, on a tens frame and with groups of teddies.
We took photos with teddies and we took photos showing 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5.
Can you quickly say what numbers we are showing?

Meeting Our Big Buddies
At Russell Street School, we work closely with an older class. It's one of the BEST things about our school! Today Saffron, Bree, Helen, Jack and Olly came to meet us. They will be in our room after brunch several times a week to listen to us read. They will also read to us! Today they were such great cheerleaders, encouraging us and gently correcting us when we needed it! Thanks, buddies!

We have moved into Room One
We have moved into our very own classroom. It's been a wonderful day. Amber-Rose and Jada came to visit us, before they start school, too. Here's what we did:
We have been reading with our buddies. Cole
We have been writing so good and I have been writing heaps of things down
on the page in my book. Hannah
We have been doing a puzzle. Ella
We have been learning to sit on the mat. Madras
I liked reading with our buddies. Poppy
I liked how hard everyone was concentrating on being great learners! Carolyn
